Paras Kalnawat was born on 9 November 1996 in Bhandara,Nagpur. Her father’s name is Bhushan Kalnawat and he is a businessman based in Nagpur. Her mother name is Anita Kalnawat. He has a elder sister name Pragati Kalnawat.
In 2017, Paras began his acting career with Dhruv from Aye Zindagi. Later 2018 he portrayed the main lead actor in the StarPlus TV serial Meri Durga in which he portrayed Sanjay Singh Ahlawat opposite Srishti Jain. Again in May 2018, in StarPlus he was selected to play Rehaan Thakur opposite Priyanka Kandwal in Mariam Khan Reporting Live. He worked in many TV serials.
On 27 March 2021 during the shoots of the Holi sequence of Anupamaa suddenly he was informed that his father demise due to a heart attack.
